About the event

Cal Stamp

Cal Stamp is a rock ‘n’ roll singer-songwriter. Taking cues from enduring American icons like Tom Petty and Don Henley, Cal writes songs that showcase his fresh take on a classic formula: vintage guitar work, sing-along choruses, and character-driven lyrics about lovers and losers.

Prior to his solo efforts, Cal was the guitarist and a principal songwriter for the Brooklyn-based alternative rock band Record Heat (f/k/a Spirit Animal), who signed to Atlantic Records in 2017.

Cal has toured the U.S. extensively, supporting acts like America, The Struts, Fitz & the Tantrums, Third Eye Blind, Incubus, and The Cult. He has received major attention from a variety of high-profile media outlets, including Rolling Stone, Consequence of Sound, Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post, Billboard, MTV, Alternative Press, and Interview Magazine.

He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Shane Hines

Shane Hines is a dynamic singer/songwriter originally from the DC/Metro area. He’s etched out a niche in the music industry with his energetic live performances, honest songwriting and soulful voice. His songwriting caught the attention of the ears in Nashville, Tennessee leading him to get a publishing deal and relocate to music city. Shane has written and worked with the likes of Lori McKenna, Heather Morgan, Jim McCormick, Jim Lauderdale, Megan Conner, Brad Tursi, Toby Lightman, Tofer Brown, Megan Lindsey and many others. He has had multiple songs placed in shows on Netflix, ABC, MTV, and VH1. Shane’s songs have been recorded by artists such as Steve Holy, Matt McAndrew, Abby Nicole, and Django Walker.

GXB

GXB is an emerging band fusing southern rock and roll, country and soul influences for a tight, high energy live show. Built around the “instant classic” songwriting of Guy Bouchie, the band is rounded out by veteran DMV musician Ben Tufts and a revolving door of top local talent. You can hear their singles “High Roller” and “Down the Line” on all streaming platforms.
