“Mick Flannery has a voice for the ages, a complete Master of his craft” cited by Clash Magazine, whilst The Sunday Times said he “conjures up exquisite story-telling.”  His latest offering ‘Goodtime Charlie’ Flannery’s eighth studio record went straight to No. 1 at home in Ireland on the independent charts, and No.  2 on the Official Charts, Making it his sixth top 5 record to date, with 3 Number 1 records already under his belt.  ‘Goodtime Charlie’ is also the first international signing for John Prines beloved Oh Boy Records.

Mick Flannery’s songs are fluent in expressing layered aspects of the human condition, its flaws, triumphs, and general uncertainty.  His live shows are renowned for his self-deprecating humour, audience engagement and the ability to bring people on a journey of both heartbreak and joy, often in the same instance.

Mick has built up a reputation over the past decade as one of Ireland hardest working musicians, touring extensively at home and in more recent years abroad as his songs have been reaching folks farther afield. Ireland’s best kept secret appears to be no more.

Tim Hause

“Of all the art I’ve made, this record feels the most like a reflection of me,” Tim Hause says about the new full-length Pre Existing Conditions. As Tim Hause, this is his second record, as a principle writer, this is his sixth, but as thesis statement on his artistic identity, Pre-Existing Conditions is the first in his journey.

For the bulk of his musical career, Tim was best known in the context of his older brother, Dave Hause. They toured for a decade, Tim either wrote or recorded nine records with Dave, but as his brother describes, “this is a quantum leap forward on every front- the singing, the playing, the production, and most importantly, the songs.” Dave was instrumental in the making of this pivotal record for Tim. Alongside producer Will Hoge, Dave helped orchestrate a studio cast that best augmented Tim’s songs including Kyle Cook of Matchbox Twenty, Dan Andriano and Atom Willard of Alkaline Trio, and more.

Despite his fraternal tie to the music industry, Tim has explored a musical life on his own accord having opened for Will Hoge, Joe Pug, Rhett Miller, Tall Tall Trees. It is this immersion in the art of the song that fuels Tim to tell his own story. He says, “my life has been riddled with loss. Through the help of music, therapy, medication; and most importantly an incredible family unit, I have been able to cobble together a wonderful life in spite of events that could easily have been backbreakers if not for the village around me.”

Pre-Existing Conditions is a record rooted in loss but full of new life. Tim leaves his fans with the declaration, “make no mistake about it, this is a ROCK record. Any of the restraint that may have been shown on my first record was unleashed on this one, and I hope you love it as much as we do.
